Amboise,
the royal garden
The originality of the gardens of the Royal Château of Amboise dwells in the fact that they are in the heart of the fortress of the Château.
These open gardens dominate the town of Amboise and the Loire Valley. They are currently undergoing an important redevelopment.
Created at the end of the 15th century by a landscape gardener and monk from Naples, these gardens recall the warm tones of the Italian peninsula.
Discover cypresses, green oak trees, noble bay trees, hornbeams, and box balls during your walk.
